About Our Services

By partnering with other private and public sector professionals FTE has developed the expertise and experience to offer a vast array of services to its clients. Since it's inception in 1989, FTE has specialized in professional engineering and planning services which can be characterized generally as the following, "developing workable solutions to design, plan, construct, renovate, repair, maintain, and upgrade infrastructure". It is the belief of FTE that without a well-maintained and functioning infrastructure, the community will suffer and be unable to remain healthy, grow and or prosper. At the same time, without the community, the FTE family cannot stay healthy, grow and or prosper. It is from this symbiotic relationship that FTE finds its mission.

For FTE, DBE certification has proven to be very valuable in achieving our goals.

Thecurrent economic times of budgetary constraints and the slumping real estate market have driven larger companies to compete for small-scale projects. In addition, smaller companies are forced to significantly reduce their fees so as to get through these tough times. Furthermore, the high gas prices, health care costs, and insurance premiums make it very difficult to be profitable on many contracts.

We have implemented an aggresive marketing program targeting new clients and new services. We are taking a calculated approach of teaming with firms that have been successful in getting contracts in the areas where we are pursing work. We are currently investing in technologies involving GPS and VIdeo that would minimize multiple field reviews and increase the quality of the services we offer. We also plan to utilize the free resource of Blackmon Roberts and our DBE Supportive Service Provider.
